The Pupil Premium is additional funding given to publicly-funded schools in England to raise the attainment of students from low-income families who are or have been eligible for free school meals in the past six years, looked after children and those from families with parents in the Armed Forces. At Monkton Wood we achieve this through access to extensive academic and pastoral support systems. This includes, where appropriate, individual or small group intervention to compliment high quality teaching and small class sizes.
