As required by educational regulations, admissions authorities must consult stakeholders whenever changes to admission arrangements are proposed or if no alterations have been made over the past seven years. In this context, the Cabot Learning Federation is undertaking a consultation on the admissions arrangements for Monkton Wood Academy for students who will be joining from September 2026.
The consultation period will commence on the 16th of December 2024 and will run through to the 24th of January 2025. I encourage all parents and guardians to participate actively in this consultation. Your feedback is vital to ensuring that our admissions policies reflect the needs and aspirations of our community.
Monkton Wood Academy is a Secondary Academy and 6th Form.
The academy is consulting on various changes including oversubscription criteria, admission criteria for The Space (6th form) and updating wording to make both policies clear and relevant.
