It’s been an incredibly exciting week at Monkton Wood Academy as the school’s mock election candidates delivered their speeches in assembly.
Each day the student candidates have spoken to different houses, which have been acting as election ‘constituencies’. The passion and commitment demonstrated by Monkton’s future leaders have been truly inspiring.
Next on the agenda, the candidates will go head-to-head at the hustings in preparation for voting on Monday and Tuesday next week. We eagerly await the results to see who will emerge victorious.
A spokesperson for the academy said: “It’s inspiring to see such passion and commitment from our future leaders, they have all been amazing.”
